Can you buy a 1/2 carton of eggs by splitting a dozen in 1/2 ?
Well I did this at the grocery store and the cashier seemed appalled. {I've bought them this way before a couple of times, no problem.}

Empty egg shells in a carton of eggs that hasn't been used....?
I bought a dozen eggs about 2 weeks ago, and I went to go and use my eggs today. Now, when i purchase eggs I always check them first, and they were all in tact. However, this morning when I opened up the carton to use some eggs, 5 of them were cracked. I was worried that I was dripping egg all over but then realized they were almost all empty..no yolks in them, just a little bit of white. I immediately checked the refridgerator to check and see if egg had been leaking out of this carton onto everything (of course I feel i would have noticed them at an earlier date) and of course there was no mess, no egg stain on anything, nothing. what the hell is up? I'm confused? How did they get cracked, and where did the insides go? And, there are 7 good eggs left, should I use them?

I don't think they do, and even if they did I'm fairly certain they won't take PS2 games. I can't find a list for Dick Smith, but if you look on the JB Hi Fi website you'll see they only take the latest games for trade in. I have some PS3 games I wouldn't mind getting rid of but they won't trade them because they're too old. You'd be better off selling the entire bundle on Ebay, you could just about pay for the whole 360 deal with the money.

Blue and white smoke from exhaust?
I have a 2000 Acura integra gsr. But at startup, usually after it's been sitting around for a couple hours, blue smoke comes from the exhaust for a couple minutes and then it turns to a constant white smoke. I know it might be the rubber valve seals. I already replaced the PVC valve with not much improvement. Does anyone know anything else that could cause this?

.Ok, my girlfriend thinks I have OCD. This is why. One, I fold all my underwear and sort by color, boxer, boxer, briefs, and tighty whitey. I hang all my t-shirts and sort them by color, and whether they have anything printed on them. T-shirts separate from button down shirts, separate from polo shirts. Pants are separated also, slacks with slacks, jeans with jeans, sweats with sweats and so on. I do like to have things in an orderly way in my home. One thing she teases me about is the eggs in my refrigerator. See I have this thing about how the eggs are placed in the carton. I feel like they have to be balanced. In other words they can't be all to one side cause when you pick up the carton you may drop it. So, I always even out the eggs and sometimes in cool little patterns. I do sometimes lock my door three times before going to bed. Is this OCD or is is it just being a little picky?
License suspended after "refusal" to blow?
Can an officer suspend your license for "refusal to blow" if you blew 4 times without hesitation. Apparently the machine wasn't reading and he claimed I was not blowing hard enough, but every time I heard the tone he said it would make. I was born normal 8 lbs one ounce in the dominican republic. The milk over there is different and i couldn't assimilate any milk i was given i threw it up all the time. THere was only one milk my mom could give me and she had to get up in line at 4 in the morning ever day to get my milk and it was milk shipped in from america, the red cap gallon milk in powder. three hour wait, but then my dad brought us to america and after i tried the red cap gallon milk it's been my milk since...but the doctor told my mom it would be difficult for me to gain weight after that experience. The years fly by, exercising, healthy eating, bad eating, workouts, protein shakes, I don't know What I haven't tried lol. To the point, I had a baby, 7 lbs 4 ounces and went flat 1 month later without doing anything(little pooch unnoticeable(STRETCH MARK CITY!) got rid of most of them with Aloe vera the plant wink wink, email me if you want to know more. And ive weighed the same weight since i was 14, 92 lbs. I have size 36 b breast, and a nice tiny figure it's just the food is going no where. I will intake 2 to 3 thousand calories sometimes but gave up on it, I went to my doctor and she said i have a DANGEROUSLY high thyroid level and it'd be almost impossible to gain weight. I wear a double zero which i have to get my mom to sew on a Machine because unless i live in New York or Miami it's hard to find it. Shirts no prob. It's difficult though i don't get it. My blood is 12.9 which the doctor said is excellent, but i just won't gain weight. I'm sick of being this thin, 20 lbs more would make me very happy, please don't call me anorexic, bulimic, etc. that's not the case, i love food. It's just not going anywhere:( i'm going to be 20 in april and people are either always telling me to eat or that im lucky, but im not

Sony STR-DE325 Receiver Problem?

Why am I so thirsty all the time!!?
Today I drank a large sweet tea from Mcdonalds, 2 Large glasses of milk, a whole carton of orange juice, two more large glasses of milk, and a doctor pepper. This is just from 9am to 7pm. Tonight when I go to bed I'll probably drink about 3 large glasses of water through out the night. I don't know if this effects anything, but I am 31 weeks pregnant. Would you remain friends with a guy who falsely claims to be an ex Navy SEAL?
Several mutual friends as well as myself do not believe this 30 year old guy. I mean he complained that he might have to stay up all night one time. He complains about the cold, etc. He never shuts up and acts like he has to check his front door and back gate at least three times which makes me feel like he doesn't trust himself. I used to be in the Navy and find it hard to believe this guy was anything other than some pencil pusher. He claims that he wants to go work for the govt in Homeland Security. I was like dude with your experience as a Navy SEAL, I think the doors would be open. Anyway, I don't want to get in a barfight only to realize that I am on my own because this guy is all talk. I mean I feel it is wrong for this guy to steal the honor and valor and respect that I would give a real SEAL. Help. I think I should no longer have anything to do with him because he seems to be so sissyish and full of self-doubt and fear.

How do I get the smell from washing a nasty moldy tent out of my wash machine?
I don't know what I was thinking. I washed this filthy moldy tent, thinking I could bring it back to life, but it was still nasty after I washed it, so I threw it away. The problem is, it's like a year later and everything you wash will mold immediately unless you put it in the dryer right after you wash. I know you are supposed to dry clothes right away, but in any other machine I've ever had, if you wait a few hours, your clothes don't start to reek, but now, it's like there is tent ooze in there that starts attacking my clothes the second they get wet. I know it sounds crazy, but if I don't get those clothes in that dryer immediately, everything smells like that nasty tent. What the heck can I do? This was an expensive washer, but I'm tired of living in denial, I'm sure I ruined it with that tent. Is there anything I can do?

About washing my Toms?
So I have a pair of Toms (orange, in case you were wondering) that have some pretty tough dirt stains. I guess I go adventuring too much! Need information on fel-pro gasket set?
I am rebuilding a SBC 350 and I have a Fel-Pro gasket set # ks2600. I know that I don't need all the gaskets they include but there is one I'm not sure of. It looks like a nylon flat washer. Reading the contents list it say's that there is a oil pump shaft retainer. The oil pump I have came with two plastic sleeves that I know lock the shaft together. What would this plastic washer be used for? Need to know before I get ahead of myself. Perhaps I just toss it over my shoulder I don't know. Hate to do that though. The list on the carton doesn't quite correspond with the contents. Say's it has an oil drain plug seal but not in there unless this part that I'm questioning is for the drain plug. Never seen a plastic one. This little part is holding me up on getting this bad boy fired up.

What is wrong with my slow computer?
I have a basically new laptop which was purchased about six months ago. About a week ago, it began getting slow about 5-10 minutes after I turned it on. I've ran avast, malwarebytes and I've defragged my computer many times, but it's still slow. It starts getting especially slower when I play music. Replacing Rear window Glass: PREP?
I've got an old 89 GMC SIERRA C2500 and when I bought it it had the 4-pane sliding glass in the rear, with one of the panes broken. I've removed the ENTIRE rear window. Glass, Seal, Everything. And I've bought a used non-sliding window and removed all the old seal. My problem is that the old seal On my truck has been extremely hard to remove and there are tiny bits of the old polyurethane seal still on the metal i've scraped for hours trying to remove these and im wondering how crucial is it that this Surface is Perfectly smooth? im using polyurethane glue/caulk to seal the new glass so will this cause a problem with my sealing and bonding??

Im not a parent and im only a guy whos 23. My opinion is that this is a normal dads reaction and it involves more than you think. Let me put you thru his eyes. You must be at a ripe age to start attracting guys. This said your dad doesnt want guys eying your legs up and staring at your butt. You do have to be cautious with how you dress yet if you sit down with him and talk to him find a fine line with whats good and whats bad and tell him you think hes being a little too controlling. I'm 13 and I've been been basically sleeping 14 hours a day and I my mom called my doctor and she told me I should drink more because she thinks I'm dehydrated. Do you think I could be dehydrated? I drink a carton of milk and a juice box at lunch everyday, like two cups of orange juice and another glass of whatever i feel like that day, and drinks here and there. My mouth isn't dry, I accidentally cut my hand and I had plenty of tears, and as gross as it is my pee is a normal color... so I'm really doubting my doctor's decision here since she didn't even make an appointment and evaluated me over the phone. This sleeping 14 hours a day is really affecting my life and I can't stay awake awake and one day my mom dragged me around town to keep me awake but I was so sick the next day she decided its better to let me sleep. Removing the power steering box on a Wrangler? What do I need to know?
The power steering box where the pitman arm attaches (not the pump) is leaking more fluid than a new born baby. It looks like it's coming from the seal where the steering shaft enters the box at the top. I can't tell for sure though and either way I need to remove it from the Jeep to check it out and replace parts or the whole unit if necessary. When removing a power steering box is there anything that needs to be kept in perfect alignment? Do I need to take note of the position of the steering shaft and pitman arm?

Why can a hole be big, but not wide?
So I was checking some machine shop parts the other day with a .250 pin and it dropped right through the hole, meaning the hole was too wide for the pin therefore the hole was over-sized. I told my boss, "Yeah the hole is too wide for the pin." He laughed, then he said some other **** to another employee and said, "Too big." I said, "Excuse me?" He said, "A hole can't be too wide, it's too big." But I've heard other quality inspectors say a hole is too wide. So, my question sums down to is why can't it be wide? I looked up the definitions of wide and big and to me it looks like you can use either word, if I'm wrong that's ok but I want to know why I'm wrong.

This morning while I was in the house a burglar broke the living room window, normally there is no one at home at that time but I'm off today. It started with a sore throat, and then throw a cough on top of that - really bad one - and now fever, sore throat, cough, aches, chills and hot flashes, fatigue. Mosquito eggs and larve in houseplant soil & water?
I have a large palm which summers outside after frost and winters inside. I have noticed mosquitos in my house. Upon further investigation I have found that the water that runs into the tub which holds the plant has larve which are hatching. Is there anything I can add to the soil or water which has run out the bottom that would kill the larve without harming the tree or a threat to us and our dogs. Eventually the water dries up, but until then I am stuck with this problem. I guess the mosquitos from summer laid eggs in the soil. We thought we had the hole in the bottom on the container sealed, but water runs out anyway. Using a shop vac to vacuum out the water is a whole lot of trouble. This is a ceiling high palm. given the location of the parts that were changed out, it is a greater chance that the pan gasket is leaking rather than the torque converter. the input seal would retain the fluid but the pan on an axod is a bit tricky to get to seal right some times. i have done so many of those. check the fluid level/ warm and running to make sure that you have not lost a great deal and go back on monday to give him the chance to look it over.

Military personnel please help!!!!(especially special forces, or recruiters)?
Okay so i have been a life long athlete swimmer, football player, wrestler, and track athlete... after high school i had a bankhart lesion repair(fixing a torn labrum) on both my left and right shoulders... it has been over a year and i have been back to my surgeon and he says that my range of motion is normal and my strength its good. i can do push ups shoulder presses, and everything else without pain... for a while now i have wanted to join the navy seals.... and my question is that because nobody can even see my scars or tell that i had surgery should i just not say anything to meps about having surgery? i know its dishonest but i have no issues with my shoulder's and it was a simple procedure and it has been so long that i doubt ill have any issue's i just don't want to be Disqualified from the seals.... what do you guys think? will they check my medical history if they have no reason too?
What is a good clear coat that I can paint on rather than spray on?
I painted over a cardboard candy box recently. I just used acrylic craft paint, so it's very easy to scratch off. I was a juvenile delinquent. I got many tickets for various things while living in CA. I ended up going to court for everything, and I did almost 2 months in juvenile hall. When I got out I got a ticket for a misdemeanor while on probation. I moved to MA and joined a program for youths and finished my probation. I recently found out that my license is suspended while trying to get one due to a failure to appear. I had no idea I had a court date (I was in the program taking care of probation and everything). How in the hell could a 100% efficient engine be built?
okay so there has never in the history of humanity been a 100% efficient engine of any sort. electric is quite efficient, but not perfect because of electrical resistance in the wires that make the machine. gasoline is only about 30% efficient due to heat loss and inefficient/incomplete destruction of the hydrocarbon molecules that make octane, not to mention impurities in gasoline. a bicycle is only about 16% efficient, and a body is probably the most inefficient because of heat loss and personal motivation even though approximately 90% of food energy is used. so if a perfect machine were to be, would it be a reptilian cold blooded engine? but then it would need external heating. if it were a solar powered green machine it wouldnt be able to move and would probably be the least efficient because of the law of degradation of energy which would leave you with 10% usable energy degraded from 100% solar energy. so to start at the closest point of where it could be deduced it must be electric, but is there any way to eliminate electrical resistance? then it raises the question of the existence of a material which is a perfect conductor, doesnt resist electron flow, wont create heat. that is the efficiency of amperage, if a circuit could be built with such large wires to carry large voltage and negligible to no amperage. but then even if you could build this incredibly heavy low amperage circuit and use it to power something, what the hell could you do with it?

Waxing a car. leaving spots?

When were B vent furnaces (direct out the wall) made illegal in California? What was the date?
I know that these units are now illegal, but were they illegal in 2008? I'm guessing Yes, but if there is a plumber out there who can tell me with some confidence that they have been illegal for many years I'd appreciate it. I have two, and they allow the wind to blow products of combustion back into the house. I need to get two sealed units to replace them, but I'm wondering why the plumbing supply store sold them to me in the first place if they are illegal. I bought them in October 2008.

One of my guinea pig pups is hiding behind furniture that I can't move, how do I get him out?
So my dad decided it would be smart to put a couple of curious baby guinea pigs near a large piece of furniture and one of them ran behind it and won't come out. I put food at the entrance and put his brother in a cage nearby so he squeaks a lot. (close to the food so he stays motivated and in view of the one behind the couch). He's come out four times but every time we go to seal the gap with a broom (far enough so he doesn't see us) he runs back. Any Ideas?

Did you put the wash in the dryer right away after the load was done? If you let it sit in there for awhile, it'll start smelling. If that's not the case, it's possible that the water that is piped into the washing machine is bad.

Go to your nearest Lowe's/Menards/Home Depot and purchase 2 big white plastic buckets with lids that contractors use to mix paint, wall compound, etc. They're about 5 gallons in size and 2 ought to hold 30 pounds of food. The lids are excellent to keep other critters out and they have carry handles. They're really inexpensive, too.

i drank spoiled milk on accident. the date said 2/7/11 (EW!) but i could not taste a difference. i only noticed a clump in my cereal, then stopped eating after about 1/3 through. What will happen if I seal a crack in the wall that has mold growing behind it?
Just moved into a rental home a month ago that we started to notice had a leak coming from the shower. Apparently some of the caulk had separated from the shower walls and water leaks down through the floorboards/wall to the garage below. There is mold in the cracks and under a ledge (which is where I think most of the damage/leaking is coming from). There is obvious water damage on the ceiling of the garage and I have a feeling that someone's tried fixing this problem before because there is an area that looks like it had been cut out before. If we clean out the cracks in the shower and re-caulk it, will mold continue to grow behind the walls?

My son just turned 1 in January and I decided it was time to lose the baby weight. I no longer had the excuse of "I just had a baby" so something had to change. I'd recommend P90X because its so hard to make a diet plan and exercise plan that will work, I mean i use to go to the gym and do random stuff and i never lost weight except when i ran 80 minutes a day on the treadmill and 2 hours of weight lifting. P90X has it all for you and it's price is about the same as 3 months of a gym membership. I'm on month 2 and i've went from 196lbs to 175lbs and i work out 1 - 11/2 hours everyday instead of 4 hours at a gym.
