Wood-working? What type of sealer/varnish could I use for wooden vessels/utensils that would be food-safe?

they offer a salad bowl oil which is especially designed for wood bowls. also there is a non toxic block oil which is used on butcher block counter tops. If you really want a surface finish, natural shellac is non toxic when thoroughly dry.
