Does car insurance cover window seals?

Normally, but not always, window seals fall into the category of items that are not covered by insurance. They are like other items that are subject to normal wear and tear and not covered. However, the best thing to do would be to talk to your insurance agent to find out for sure. If you have full coverage the window glass would be covered, but not the seals. If this is on a relatively new vehicle and it leaks water around the seals then you may have some recourse with the dealer since it may be a defect that existed since the vehicle was manufactured.
