Does anyone remember the name of this old Nickelodeon short?

It was probably featured in the 90's sometime and it was animated. It was a painter sort of, a man and a woman, but really they were a person's fingers? I remember them painting and having a pallet and stuff like that, and something with an egg carton? Help me out please?!
